About MyLocalArchitects.co.uk

An architect directory that is not selling you to anyone.

MyLocalArchitects.co.uk lists ARB-registered practices across the UK, ranks them by what verified clients say, and lets you contact them directly. Practices pay once for a listing or nothing at all — there is no subscription and no per-enquiry charge.

How it works

1

Search

Pick the job and your location. We show the practices that list that work, not everyone nearby.

2

Compare

Register status, verified reviews and the fees and project types we hold for each practice, side by side.

3

Contact

Message or call the practice directly. We never sell your details or put you into a lead auction.

What we promise

No paid placement in the ranked list

Order is verified reviews, then distance. A featured listing buys a share of a slot that is labelled as featured, above that list; it never changes the organic order. A Featured firm not in today's slot sits in the list where its reviews place it.

Register-checked

Every listing is matched to the ARB register before it goes live. Practices we found on the register show as not yet claimed until they join. Tell us if a practice has left the register and we take it out of search.

Verified reviews only

We confirm with the practice that the reviewer was a client, without showing them the review first; if the practice has not claimed its listing, a moderator checks. Practices can never edit or remove a review.

Your details stay yours

An enquiry goes to one practice, the one you chose. No lead selling, no follow-up calls from strangers.

Who runs MyLocalArchitects.co.uk

MyLocalArchitects.co.uk is one of the independent UK directories in The MyLocal Network, run by Property Architecture Ltd (MyLocalArchitects is a trading name of Property Architecture Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17536132, registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ). It is not part of the Architects Registration Board or the Royal Institute of British Architects. We use the ARB register because it is the legal record of who may call themselves an architect in business, and anyone can check it.

Where our information comes from

A practice’s name, address and registration status come from the public ARB register, never from the practice itself. Some practices are listed before they join, using only business facts from the register; our data sources page explains exactly what we copy. The figures in our city and service guides come from primary sources such as the government’s planning application statistics, HM Land Registry, the Valuation Office Agency and the Office for National Statistics, and each one links to its source with the date we checked it.

How the site is paid for

Practices that claim their listing pay once: £19.99 for a verified listing or £39.99 for a featured one. There is no subscription and no charge per enquiry. Because no one can buy a higher place, the list stays one you can trust. Read how it works or find an architect.

Is MyLocalArchitects.co.uk part of ARB or RIBA?

No. It is an independent directory. We use the public ARB register to check every listing, but neither the Architects Registration Board nor the Royal Institute of British Architects runs, funds or endorses the site.

How are practices ranked?

Reviews decide the order: the practice with the stronger verified review score comes first, and the one nearer the town centre wins a tie. Payment plays no part. Featured listings are shown in a separate labelled block; if a town has more than three, they take turns in that block day by day, and on other days sit in the list at the place their reviews earn.

How do I report a mistake on a listing?

Use the contact page and choose the topic for a listing or review that breaks the rules. If a practice has left the ARB register, tell us and we take it out of search.
